Franciscan Cross
The cross of San Damiano is revered as the icon before which St Francis of Assisi was praying when he received his vision of Christ. The colourful and evocative crucifix, originally painted in around 1100, depicts not only Jesus but also a number of biblical characters who witnessed Jesus' crucifixion.
This small replica is a great aid to worship, depicting the crucified Christ, other elements of the Passion and also a glimpse into the history of Christianity. The cross is available in two sizes (14cm tall and 8cm tall) and both have a small hook for wall mounting.
