Afghan Slipper Socks 

These comfortable house slippers are imported directly from Afghanistan. They are knitted by Afghan women, many of them war widows, in their own homes from a mix of 70% wool and 30% rayon. Soft leather soles are hand sewn to the bottom to give a long lasting warm indoor slipper sock. The work is all carried out in Fair Trade conditions, and all the money from the buying goes directly to the women.

The socks come in a multitude of colours, with traditional patterns usually on a cream or white background.
